Thanksgiving Ramen Recipe
Thanksgiving Ramen Recipe

Ingredients

  • 24 oz boneless, skinless turkey breast, cut into strips (OR use leftover turkey from Thanksgiving)
  • 5 carrots sliced
  • 3 quarts chicken broth
  • 1 medium piece fresh ginger root peeled
  • 4 packages of ramen noodles
  • 5 cups fresh spinach
  • 4 tablespoons sesame oil
  • Soy sauce
  • Scallions for decoration

Directions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and brown the turkey in 2 tablespoons of sesame oil. Season with soy sauce and continue cooking until done.
  2. Meanwhile in a large pot bring the broth, carrots and ginger root to a boil.
  3. Then add the ramen and cook according to package instructions. Take off the heat and stir in the spinach. Add the remaining tablespoon of sesame oil and season with soy sauce to taste.
  4. Add the turkey to the soup and serve with chopped scallions.
